Some viewers seem to think Grover may have dropped the F-bomb on a recent episode of “Sesame Street.”
A clip of the Muppet talking to Rosita has some viewers questioning if his words were safe for kids.
“Just saw this on Reddit and it blew my mind. Is Grover saying 'yes, yes, that's a f***ing excellent idea' or 'yes, yes that sounds like an excellent idea'" one person tweeted about the clip. “I can hear both depending on which one I'm thinking in my head!”
Similar to the Yanny vs. Laurel debate, people are torn about the answer.
One commenter on Reddit wrote, “Yeah, at first I thought, 'He's clearly saying f***ing.' but then I saw your comment and read along on the 'clean' version and it completely disappeared. Brains are weird.”
It's probably safe to say Grover did not drop the F-bomb, but that hasn't stopped many people from hearing it anyhow.
New episodes of "Sesame Street" air Saturdays on HBO.
