Sherri Shepherd reacted on The View to a controversial comment made about the president by Oscar®-winning actor, Morgan Freeman.

Freeman said during an interview on National Public Radio, "America's first black president has not arisen yet. He's not America's first black president, he's America's first mixed race president."

Shepherd reacted and said, "Obama, when he checked the box, he checked black."

Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar both agreed with Freeman's comment.
