Fashionable Felines Walk the Runway in New York Cat Fashion Show
Watch out Fashion Week!
A group of felines have hit the catwalk in New York.
The annual feline fashion show at The Algonquin Hotel took place Thursday, and it was quite the sight for the cat-crazed audience.
Fashionable felines showed up to the event in newsboy hats and puffy red coats and the ladies donned feathered hats and elaborate embroidered dresses.
The theme for the show and lobby party, with some human attendees in cat-ear headbands and feline-adorned finery, was "The Purring '20s."
The event is a fundraiser for the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, which helps support more than 150 animal shelters and rescues in New York.
The event was expected to raise more than $10,000, although the cats' swagger-filled struts were priceless.
