Festive Sharks Get Nativity Scene in Their Tank
There are five tiger sharks among many others in the aquarium.
Sharks in Italy are officially getting into the Christmas spirit with their new nativity scene.
Divers placed a two-tile majolica nativity scene portraying the Holy Family in a water tank inside the Aquarium of Cattolica.
The sharks seemed eager to see what the divers were doing as they circled them during the underwater installation.
The tank houses five big sand tiger sharks and various other sea predators and fish in 700,000 liters of water.
We’re not sure if Santa will be going scuba diving this Christmas, but at least the marine animals have something to keep them in the holiday spirit.
