Florida School Resource Officers Help Wrangle Gator on Middle School Campus

"No students came within 100 yards of the gator," the school district said.
Florida school resource officers had to go beyond the call of duty this week to help wrangle an alligator that found its way onto a middle school campus.
Pasco County Schools wrote in a Facebook post that the alligator fortunately did not come close to any students at Seven Springs Middle School.
"No students came within 100 yards of the gator," the post read.
A nearby trapper assisted in the capture of the gator.
The school district asked the public to try to caption the picture. Among the strongest?
"Go Gators!!" one person wrote, referencing the University of Florida's football team.
