Frankie Muniz Says Cat Accidentally Destroyed His Multimillion-Dollar Home
Frankie Muniz said he knows the story sounds crazy.
Actor Frankie Muniz’s multimillion-dollar brownstone in Phoenix was accidentally destroyed by his pet cat.
His cat, Jeri, demolished the Arizona house by learning how to turn on the water faucet. It took a while, but by the time Muniz came home, the five-story brownstone was flooded with three feet of water.
Muniz was away in France for an uncle’s funeral and returned to millions of dollars in damage.
"Everything I own, destroyed,” he posted on Twitter. "Every wall, piece of artwork, personal photos, furniture, all because my cat accidentally turned on a sink a few days ago while we were gone."
Muniz said he’s devastated.
“I’ve cried more yesterday and today than my whole life combined. Forgive me for venting, I just need some support,” he said. “I know this sounds ridiculous, but I swear it's true. You wouldn't believe the destruction.”
There was a spot of good news: Muniz announced his engagement to now-fiancee Paige Price Monday.
