A "furry mask bandit" is on the run from the FBI after robbing four banks in Maryland and Virginia over the last seven months, according to multiple reports.

The FBI described the suspect's M.O. Wearing a furry mask or wig, the suspect allegedly walks into the bank and passes a note across the counter to the teller demanding money. The FBI said the person mostly asks for $100 bills.

The bandit conducted the heists between October 2018 and May 2019. The suspect reportedly robbed the same bank twice, a SunTrust Bank.

Authorities say the suspect is thin and about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. The suspect was seen in dark pants, sweatshirt, sunglasses and the masks and wigs.

The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest. Anyone with information is asked to 202-278-2000.
