Texas driver faces assault with a deadly weapon charges after deliberately swerving in front of motorcyclist, police say.
The Texas driver captured on video saying "I don't care" after swerving into the path of a motorcyclist has been charged with aggravated assault, authorities said Tuesday.
The driver, identified as William Sam Crum, was charged Monday with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

In a criminal complaint, Trooper Robert Bradshaw said he interviewed witnesses and the video taken by a helmet cam. Crum, he said, "intentionally or knowingly" caused injuries to rider Eric Sanders and his passenger Debora Simpson.
Both were hospitalized after Saturday's incident. Sanders suffered deep cuts and scrapes and has been released. Simpson is recovering from surgery for a broken wrist, according to the complaint.
Crum is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail, police said. He has not been arraigned. It was not known if had a lawyer.
In the video, which contains graphic images and language, the pair is seen passing a slower-moving car on a two-lane country road. The driver swerves across the double-yellow line and slams into the motorcycle.

Eric Sanders and his girlfriend slam onto the road, bouncing and rolling several times before coming to rest in grass on the side of the road. He gets up and hops around. The woman lies on her back, not moving.
Their friend with the helmet cam strides up the car’s driver.
“What were you doing?” he demands. “You hit them.”
The driver: “I don’t care.” He repeats that phrase several times, and then remarks, “I got stung by a wasp.”
