The president created a real mystery with a tweet that he posted just after midnight Wednesday and it has kept social media users up all night trying to figure out its meaning.
"Despite the constant negative press covfefe," he tweeted at 12:06 a.m.
Social media quickly lit up with comments and memes.

But at 6:09 a.m., Trump appeared to toy with his Twitter followers, asking, “Who can figure out the true meaning of ‘covfefe’??? Enjoy!”

It is possible that Trump meant to say "coverage," but it came out as covfefe.
