After a little more than a week after being named the White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci has been removed from the position.
According to reports, the president opted to remove him Monday following his foul-mouthed tirades against former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon.
Scaramucci arrived as the communications director Friday July 21, the same day Sean Spicer was let go from the role.
Scaramucci’s removal came after a request from new Chief of Staff John F. Kelly, The New York Times reported Monday. Kelly announced to the White House staff that Scaramucci is no longer in charge.
It is not yet known whether Scaramucci will assume another role inside the Trump administration.
Scaramucci, 53, just became a father for the fourth time as his wife, Deidre, who recently filed for divorce from the former Wall Street exec, gave birth to their son, James.
