Can you imagine anyone nodding off in the front row during the President's State of the Union address?
That's just what Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg did, and now, she's admitting she had too much wine!
The 81-year-old judge came clean at George Washington University with Justice Antonin Scalia.
"You went to the State of the Union this year and you fell asleep!" Someone in the audience said to her.
"As I often do!" she responded. "We sit there stone-faced, sober judges. But we're not, at least I wasn't 100 percent sober, because before we went to the State of the Union we had dinner together. I vowed this year, just sparkling water, stay away from the wine! But in the end, dinner was so delicious it needed wine to accompany it."
This isn't the first time Judge Ginsburg napped during a State of the Union address. She did the same thing the year before!
But it is the first time she's been called out, by her granddaughter!
Ginsburg explained, "I got a call when I got home from one of my granddaughters. She said, 'Bubbe, you were sleeping at the State of the Union!'"
