Herby Shehorn said he's "sure glad" about the mix-up.
A mistake led to a massive windfall for an Indiana couple.
Herby Shehorn accidentally ended up with $10 worth of CA$H 5 tickets when he meant to buy $10 worth of Mega Millions tickets. Lucky for him, it was a mistake that made him and his wife, Cori, rich beyond their wildest dreams.
“The next morning, I went in [to the Kwick Stop store] and said, ‘I’m sure glad you screwed up,’” Shehorn told WHAS11.
They ended up winning $703,588 before taxes.
With the money, they'll renovate their house and save the other half.
