Inside Edition Wins 2 Clarion Awards for Investigative Reports

Started in 1972, the Clarions honor excellence across all communications disciplines.
Inside Edition has been honored with two 2018 Clarion Awards, presented by The Association for Women in Communications (AWC).
Inside Edition’s report “Who’s Giving You a Massage?” won the National Television Investigative Feature category. The investigation, which aired in September 2017, uncovered disturbing allegations by women who say they were sexually assaulted by their massage therapist. Its honorees include chief investigative correspondent Lisa Guerrero, investigative producer Charlie McLravy and investigative videographer/editor Filip Kapsa.
Meanwhile, Inside Edition’s report “How Accurate Is It?” won the National Television Feature Story – Comprehensive or Ongoing category. The investigation, which aired in February 2017, enlisted the help of two sets of indistinguishable triplets and a set of identical quadruplets to investigate the accuracy of at-home DNA tests. Its honorees include Guerrero, investigative producer Larry Posner, and investigative associate producer Zara Lockshin.
