Inside the Revelry of the Royal Wedding Evening Reception

Serena Williams and George Clooney in particular made a splash among the guests.

Additional details are emerging about the events of the post-royal wedding receptions.

The formal ceremonies were held at Windsor Castle directly following the nuptials of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at St. George’s Chapel, which is on the grounds of the castle.

The couple and their guests headed over The Frogmore House for the evening reception, where they dined on cotton candy and burgers.

The bride’s friends arrived at the stately mansion by bus.

Troian Bellisario, the wife of Markle's "Suits" co-star Patrick Adams, posted video on social media of a butler handing out slippers.

Serena Williams came ready to boogie, rocking sneakers on the dance floor.

The tennis star took to Twitter to show off her party dress, as did Jessica Mulroney, the bride’s best friend.

It has also been learned that the newlyweds' first dance was to Whitney Houston's “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”

Williams and other guests joined in a game of beer pong during the party.

George Clooney reportedly danced with both Markle and Kate Middleton, and there was a dance-off between Prince William and the groom.

Now that she's married into royal family, the bride has her own page on the official royal family website with her new title, The Duchess of Sussex.

"I am proud to be a woman and a feminist," read a statement on the site, which downplayed her career as an actress.

On Monday, the couple arrived at their new home inside Kensington Palace.
