Man Accused of Stealing Car Wears 'Trust Me' T-Shirt In Mugshot

Police say he was not to be trusted.
An alleged Virginia car thief recently found himself in the wrong T-shirt at the wrong time.
Wilmer Lara Garcia was pictured in his mugshot wearing a shirt that displayed the words "Trust Me."
It was an unfortunate fashion choice by Garcia on Saturday, when police allege he and another man stole a car.
According to police in Falls Church, a victim's car was stolen after they left it unlocked and unattended while it warmed up.
A short time later, cops say they spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.
As Garcia and the other suspect were arrested, officers say they found altered and forged checks inside the car.
Garcia has been charged with auto theft and two counts of forgery.
