Man Also Shot Outside Nipsey Hussle's Store Reportedly Arrested for Associating With Gang Member

Kerry Lathan had just been released on parole after serving a 20-year sentence for murder.
A man who was also shot when Nipsey Hussle was killed has been arrested, according to TMZ.
The website is reporting that Kerry Lathan was shot in the back on March 31st outside of Nipsey’s Marathon Clothing store, in the same barrage that killed the young rapper.
At the time, Lathan had just been released on parole after serving a 20-year sentence for murder. Nipsey was reportedly at the store on the day he was killed so he could get the 56-year-old Lathan some new clothes.
After spending a week in the hospital, Lathan was arrested at his halfway house for associating with a known gang member, a source told TMZ. Police say Nipsey was a member of the Rollin 60’s Crips, and one of the conditions of Lathan's parole was to stay away from gang members.
Lathan is now unable to walk as a result of the shooting and is currently being held at the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles, as authorities try to revoke his parole.
