Chicago City Officials Finally Remove Concrete Where ‘Rat Hole’ Once Lived

Chicago is saying rest in peace to a world-famous landmark. No, not The Bean, and not Wrigley Field. They're bidding adieu to the “rat hole.” The plot of cement, with an impression resembling a splattered rat, or maybe a squirrel, has caused commotion in  Roscoe Village for months. So, city officials finally decided to remove the entire section of damaged concrete. The slab of concrete was preserved but its future has not yet been determined, officials said.
