Cinder the Rescued Baby Sea Otter Learns How to Swim at New Home at SeaWorld

Cinder the baby sea otter was just 5 weeks old when she was found stranded by strong currents near Homer, Alaska. The orphaned pup was dehydrated and underweight when rescuers at the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward began caring for her. But Cinder's health quickly improved, and now the cute little pup is settling in to her new home at SeaWorld in San Diego, California. With the help of her human caregivers, Cinder is learning how to swim and groom herself in SeaWorld's sea otter nursery.
