Cleanup Underway After 1,000 Gallons of Mineral Oil Leak Into Bronx River

The Bronx River, normally a calming place for New York residents to enjoy, is now the site of a cleanup after officials say a thousand gallons of mineral-based oil leaked into the water from an underground feeder. Bruce Roudette lives nearby and says he would sometimes fish there. The Department of Environmental Protection says it has initiated cleanup efforts, including setting up these booms to prevent the further spread of oil.
