Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico Shot in Assassination Attempt

The Prime Minister of Slovakia is reportedly fighting for his life after an assassination attempt. Reports say Robert Fico, 59, the populist, pro-Russian PM of the small European nation, was rushed to a hospital after being shot in the stomach four times. Fico was elected premiere for the fourth time last year, bringing his nationalist party to power. Reports say a 71-year-old male suspect was detained, but no motive has been determined.
