Serife Yilmaz is taking university classes while helping to care for the animals on her family’s farm in Turkey. She’s made a special friend in a cow named Meltem. Serife feeds and cares for Meltem, and the pair have been known to take a selfie or two. She says she was inspired by social media. Serife’s cow selfie videos have garnered over 11.5 million views on social media. Comments range from “udder” disbelief to people vowing to become vegetarians.
