Coyote With Bucket Stuck on His Head and Cactus Wounds Rescued in California

A young coyote is recovering after being  trapped with a bucket on its head. Law enforcement received a phone call about what was thought to be a dog with a plastic bucket on its head floating amongst the debris in the flooded Tijuana River Valley. Getting to the animal was a challenge. It required a boat, so San Diego lifeguards helped officers from the San Diego Humane Society reach the distressed animal. Animal experts hope to return him to the wild as soon as he recovers.
