Top Chef Contestant Accused of Poisoning Brooklyn Neighbor’s Tree

You may recognize him from his days competing on ‘Top Chef.’ Adam Harvey is accused of trying to kill his neighbor's 60-year-old tree, because it was keeping sun from hitting the solar panels on the roof of his Brooklyn home. Harvey allegedly sent a tree cutting crew to get rid of the tree weeks before the alleged poisoning. Neighbors acted quickly and called the police, who stopped the crew.
