Pair of Teeny Otter Pups Delight Japanese Aquarium Staff

Toba Aquarium in Mie Prefecture said that one male otter pup was born on May 23 and the other, a female, on May 24. They each weighed less than a pound at time of birth, and were both small enough to fit into the palm of a hand. Two other pups in the same litter were born to a resident otter, but they died soon after birth and the surviving two are being raised by aquarium staff.
