Why Are Daredevils Jumping 140 Feet Without Safety Cord?

Daredevils are now free-falling with only a net below them. They are jumping 140 feet without a bungee cord. The drop lasts about five seconds and people land in a safety net. The cordless jump is happening at Velocity Adrenaline Park in New Zealand. Eden Togiatama has done the jump herself 10 times. “The whole reason there is no rope is when you drop, you're meant to have that stomach-drop feeling of nothing being around you," she says.
