Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Won't Be Celebrating Christmas With the Rest of The Royals

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be opting out of the holiday celebrations at Sandrigham this year.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry won’t be attending the royal holiday festivities this year.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are opting out of the holiday celebrations at Sandringham this year, which they have participated in for the past two years. They will spend Christmas with the Duchess’ mother instead.
While it may seem out of turn, Harry's grandmother is apparently cool with it.
“This decision is in line with precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen,” a statement from Buckingham Palace said.
It’s not clear where the new family will celebrate with Doria Ragland. A source told People that it will not be in Los Angeles, Markle’s hometown.
They will reportedly be spending Thanksgiving there with Ragland, though.
It will be baby Archie’s first Christmas.
