Meghan Markle’s Mother Doria Ragland ‘Excited’ as She Prepares for Royal Wedding
Inside Edition caught up with Doria Ragland outside her California home.
With only days to go before the royal wedding, Meghan Markle's mother, Doria, has been seen at her California home, where she discussed the upcoming nuptials.
She lives in a middle class Los Angeles neighborhood. She has been running last-minute errands on Mother's Day before her departure for London.
As a photo scandal swirls around her ex-husband, Thomas Markle, Ragland has been doing her best to stay out of the spotlight.
Speaking to Inside Edition Monday, Ragland said she was excited to go to London for the ceremony, but did not respond to questions about Thomas Markle and the photos he is believed to have staged with the paparazzi.
While 600 guests have scored invitations to the royal wedding, only two of Meghan Markle’s relatives, her mother and father, are on that list.
On Monday, in the wake of the photo scandal, Thomas Markle will reportedly not attend the wedding in an effort to avoid further embarrassing his daughter.
The 73-year-old also claimed to TMZ that he had a heart attack six days ago and checked himself out of the hospital in anticipation of walking his daughter down the aisle Saturday.
