President Trump compared the first lady to Jackie O and even gave her a new moniker — Melania T.

It happened Friday during a call to “Fox And Friends,” and he told the hosts, “We have our own Jackie O. It's called Melania, ... Melania T.”

He added, “She is doing a great job and not getting enough credit. By the way, people love her.”

The first lady has been channeling the legendary Jackie Kennedy Onassis with outfits that echo her style and elegance. She is usually spotted in high heels, long lines and classic cuts.

Last week in Ireland, Melania boarded Air Force One sporting a crisp trench coat, a blue scarf over her hair and black sunglasses. Many said the look was reminiscent of Jackie's style of the 60s.

Melania has also donned brightly colored power suits. When her husband was sworn is as president, she wore a baby blue coat dress, with many saying she was channeling the powder blue coat and hat ensemble that Jackie wore to her own husband's 1961 inauguration.
