Morning Shows Channel the '80s for Halloween

Playing Behind the Scenes as ‘Today’ Hosts Channel the ‘80s for Halloween

Inside Edition was behind the scenes at the “Today” show for an '80s flashback as the hosts donned outfits for Halloween

Al Roker wore a Doc Brown costume from “Back to the Future” with Dylan Dryer as sidekick Marty McFly.

Craig Melvin was Eddie Murphy’s character Prince Hakeem from “Coming to America," while Carson Daly channeled Bruce Springsteen. He wasn’t the only musician as Kathie Lee Gifford dress as material girl Madonna and Hoda Kotb was a dead ringer for Elton John. Meanwhile, Savannah Guthrie gave her best Cyndi Lauper.

“Good Morning America” also took it back to the '80s as Robin Roberts was Diahann Carroll from “Dynasty.”

George Stephanopoulos was Michael J. Fox’s character Alex Keaton from “Family Ties.” Michael Strahan’s muscles were bulging as he was everyone’s favorite “A-Team” member, Mr. T.

The 1980s was an ongoing theme with Rachael Ray as well, who had a zombie prom in tribute to the decade on her show.

On “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” the hosts had multiple costume changes, dressing as Laverne and Shirley, as well as characters from "I Dream of Jeannie."

"The View" featured children dressed as costumes ripped from the headlines like a tiny President Trump and Omarosa Manigault-Newman.

Another child dressed as Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, while others were feuding rappers Cardi B. and Nicki Minaj.
