One opossum had a rough night after breaking into a Florida liquor store, where he wound up drunk.

On the day after Thanksgiving, Fort Walton Beach police were called to a local liquor store after an employee found the opossum inside.

The animal was found next to a broken bottle that was completely empty, reports said.

The opossum was disoriented, excessively salivating, and slightly pale, officials said.

Thankfully, he was given fluids to flush out the toxins from his body and returned to normal behavior.

Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge said the animal was happily released Thursday night.
