Oregon Teen Dressed as Spider-Man Hangs Upside Down to Ask Girlfriend to Prom

It was a MARVELous idea.
It was quite an amazing spectacle as an Oregon high school student dressed up as Spider-Man to ask his girlfriend to prom.
Adam Hazelton, 17, recently tied a rope out of the window of her home and hung upside down in the superhero's signature pose alongside a sign that read, "It would be MARVELous to go to prom with you."
Hazelton asked his girlfriend, 17-year-old Jenna McIntosh, to come outside and was forced dangle much longer than expected when she took seven minutes to come out.
"I knew he was going to ask me but I never expected him to literally be hanging out of his window!” McIntosh told InsideEdition.com. "I was so shocked."
The teen practiced hanging upside down from the rope at his gym to prepare for the elaborate promposal.
McIntosh later posted images of the moment on Twitter, where it became an internet sensation.
"Going to prom with the most MARVELous boy," she wrote.
