Parents Fight at Children's Baseball Game After Disagreeing With 13-Year-Old Umpire's Call
Colorado police said some parents were injured and others were cited.
A baseball game between 7-year-old children disintegrated into a fight between parents who became enraged over calls made by a 13-year-old umpire, authorities said.
Colorado police released video of the melee, asking for help in identifying a man in a white T-shirt and teal shorts. Lakewood police officers arrived at Westgate Elementary School on Saturday while the fight was still in progress, authorities said.
In the video, parents scream as punches are thrown. One woman is heard praying.
Several adults were cited, police said, and others were injured.
Anyone with information about the fight is asked to contact the Lakewood Police Department.
