Penguin Follows 5-Year-Old Girl Around New Jersey Aquarium
The girl's mom was mesmerized by the interaction.
It was a classic game of cat and mouse between a 5-year-old girl and a penguin that couldn’t stop chasing her.
Little Arianna, of New Jersey, ran up and down the aquarium glass at the Jenkinson's Aquarium in Point Pleasant while the cold-weathered bird followed her.
The penguin even paused as Arianna hid behind a pole.
"I thought it was absolutely hysterical," her mom, Katie, told Caters News. "The penguin made an instant connection with Arianna and it was amazing."
The girl and her new friend carried on for about 30 minutes before she and her mom moved on to check out other exhibits.
When they came back, Arianna and the penguin picked up right where they left off.
