An incredible helicopter rescue was caught on camera as a skier in the French Alps needed to be airlifted following a leg injury.

This skier was left wincing in agony after an accident near the Anterne Pass.

A helicopter arrived to whisk him away to safety. Video shows how the pilot strategically wedged the chopper's nose right into the snow.

Rescuers were able to reach the skier, whose name is reportedly Bruno, and he was airlifted to a local hospital.

The footage of the rescue was posted on Facebook on Jan. 3 by Nicolas Derely, who explained Bruno accidentally slipped from exhaustion and fell.
