Principal Busts a Move With Her School’s Step Team
She said she practiced with the squad three times.
A Florida principal is showing she's in touch with the younger generation by dancing with her high school’s step team.
During a recent pep rally at Lake Mary High School, Principal Dr. Mickey Reynolds joined the Unity Revolution STEP team, donning the same uniform — black shirt, red and black camouflage pants and black sneakers — and did their routine with them.
Someone filmed the performance and posted it on social media where it has since gone viral.
“Dr. Mickey Reynolds is the principal I wish I had in high school,” was one comment.
“Mad props to Dr. Mickey Reynolds!” was another.
Dr. Reynolds told News6 in Florida that she practiced about three times with the squad before the performance.
She added that she hopes it helps inspire other principals to connect with their students.
