Actor and social media influencer Ray Diaz has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, police said.
The 33-year-old was taken into custody by Los Angeles Police Department detectives from the elite Robbery-Homicide Division Special Assault Section, the LAPD tweeted Saturday. The San Diego Police Department assisted with the arrest.
Diaz has 3.1 million follows on Instagram and 300,000 subscribers on YouTube. His bail is set at $500,000.
The LAPD tweeted Friday about "several social media posts related to a social media personality, alleging physical abuse and sexual relations with a minor." It did not name Diaz in the tweet but said investigators were looking into the allegations.
A lawyer for Diaz could not be reached by several outlets.
