The "The Perfect Date" actor accepted his award Sunday night in crutches and a knee brace.

Rom-com heartthrob Noah Centineo had inspiring words for his fans Sunday night at the People’s Choice Awards.

As the 23-year-old actor accepted his award for Best Comedy Movie Star of 2019 for his role in “The Perfect Date,” he ended his speech with a few simple words for his fans: "It matters not what you've done, but what you do with what you've done for others.”

The “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” star also expressed his surprise at the nomination: “I guess I’m funny? I didn’t know that.”

Centineo thanked his fan and admitted that “it’s always so nerve-wracking” being the center of attention at awards shows.

The memorable speech comes after a bit of a struggle getting on stage. Centineo paired his cool slacks and a t-shirt look with a knee brace and a crutch, following an accident while playing basketball with friends.

Thankfully, presenter Sarah Hyland was happy to help escort him to the stage.

Centineo made headlines earlier this month for his new hairstyle, replacing his long shaggy hair with a much shorter buzz cut.
