Want to make the most of your time on the road? Inside Edition has some tips.
It's important to pack lots of drinks and snacks for those long stretches in the car. Have them readily available in coolers for when that hunger or thirst strikes.
Some good snacking options: Put cereal in a clean coffee creamer bottle and shake the pieces out as you want them. Also, keep celery sticks in a jar of peanut butter for an easy-to-access combo.
Be sure to pull off the road if you get tired while driving. If you need a quick nap, pull out that water raft from the trunk and lay it in the back seat for a comfy, makeshift bed.
And travelers never know when a disaster will strike. So make sure you have jumper cables stored in case the car battery gives out. And it always helps to have the instructions for how to use them on hand and ready to read — so you can get back on the road as soon as possible.
