Where Is Melania Trump? Concerns for First Lady After She Hasn't Been Seen Publicly in 18 Days

Her reps say she has no public events scheduled at this time.

The first lady hasn't been seen in public since May 10, the day before she checked in to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for treatment of a "benign kidney condition."

Melania Trump spent six days at the medical center, and President Trump says she's doing just fine.

As he answered questions from journalists Friday on the White House lawn, President Trump said Melania was "doing great."

Then, gesturing to a White House window, Trump added: "Right there. She's doing great. She's looking at us, right there."

Reporters, however, said they didn't see anyone behind the glass.

Melania, 48, stood with her husband more than two weeks ago to welcome home the three Americans held in North Korea.

A spokeswoman for the first lady also said she was doing well and was meeting with staff about upcoming events, including the annual Congressional Picnic and the Fourth of July celebrations.

Melania has no public events scheduled at this time, the spokeswoman told Inside Edition.

President Trump went solo to Arlington National Cemetery, where he laid a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He ruffled some feathers on Twitter when he said American's fallen soldiers would "support me."

On her own Twitter account, Melania also acknowledged Memorial Day, saying, "We honor the many Americans who laid down their lives for our great country," she said.
