Woman Face-Plants While Doing 'La Chona Challenge'
Thankfully, she was OK.
Drake's "In My Feelings Challenge" has spawned an array of similar dancing trends, which can be dangerous.
The viral dance craze, also known as the "Shiggy Challenge," often features people jumping out of cars — and now, so does the "La Chona Challenge."
In it, people dance to "La Chona" the 1995 song by the Mexican norteña band Los Tucanes de Tijuana.
Recently, a woman was captured on video face-planting while trying to get back in her car after dancing next to the song while someone drove a vehicle next to her.
Ale Carranza jumped out of her car in Oceanside, California, on July 19 to take part in the viral challenge, but in the footage, she unsuccessfully tries to climb back into her car, slipping and falling on her side.
The footage has been viewed more than 10 million times on Facebook.
Carranza was not injured, according to reports.
