XXXTentacion Dead at 20: Rapper's Mother Cleopatra Bernard Reveals Her Son Had Baby on the Way

XXXTentacion was expecting a baby with his girlfriend at the time of his death, his mother revealed on Instagram Thursday.

"He left us a final gift," Cleopatra Bernard captioned an image of a sonogram. 

Sources told TMZ that the rapper, 20, knew his girlfriend was pregnant weeks ago. The girlfriend has not been identified.

Born Jahseh Onfroy, XXXTentacion was shot and killed outside RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Fla., Monday in what was initially believed to be a robbery attempt, according to authorities. 

On Wednesday, Dedrick Devonshay Williams was taken into custody in connection with the shooting and charged with first-degree murder, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a probation violation. He is being held without bond at the Broward County Sheriff's Office Main Jail.

Two other arrest warrants have been signed by a judge, but those suspects have not yet been apprehended, TMZ reported. 

Authorities have not commented on a motive.

XXXTentacion’s career took off with a spot among XXL magazine’s 2017 Freshman Class followed by a $6 million record deal this year.

In March, XXXTentacion’s sophomore album, "?," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. His previous release, called "17," landed at No. 2. His YouTube channel has more than 5 million subscribers.
