She was reportedly playing hide-and-seek.
A little girl who became trapped inside a washing machine in China has been rescued, thanks to the tireless efforts of police.
The incident unfolded in Zhoushan City of east China's Zhejiang Province Saturday, after the girl was reportedly playing hide-and-seek.
When she climbed inside the spin dry chamber of the machine and became trapped, the girl's parents made an emergency call to police.
In a bid to get her out as quickly as possible, police cut the machine with a saw.
Once they broke through the outer shell of the machine, police brought out the spin drum with the girl inside and began to cut through it.
After more than a half hour, the girl was freed. She reportedly suffered no injuries.
