Watch A College Student Get Surprised with Proposal During Her Graduation Ceremony
One university student got the shock of her life when her boyfriend proposed to her during the middle of graduation.
Ashley Nelson thought she was being brought on stage during her graduation from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts because of her perfect 4.0 GPA, but the school's president had a surprise planned.
The president told her, “There is someone else here who would like to ask you a question.”
Josh Tillinghast, who is also graduating from the school, had the entire surprise proposal planned and it had everyone in tears including the university president.
In front of the entire graduating class, he professed his love for her and got down on one knee and popped the question. She said yes, of course.
The university posted the entire proposal on YouTube.
According to the university's web site it's the first proposal during a graduation in the school's history.
