Is This 'Invisible' Body Suit With No Eye Holes the Most Dangerous Kids' Costume Ever?
The costume, which consists of a full body suit and a face mask, is being slammed by parents.
One of the most popular costumes for Halloween this year is the full body suit and face mask that features no eye holes.
It is called “I’m Invisible” but some are calling it the most dangerous costume ever.
Lyss Stern, CEO of DivaMoms.com told INSIDE EDITION: “I wanted it off the shelves immediately!
“This costume is extremely dangerous. Children cannot see through the costume, let alone if they are walking across the street the cars can't see them. They are completely invisible it is completely dangerous.”
According to a recent study that said "Halloween is the Deadliest Day of the Year" for youngsters who go trick or treating. They are twice as likely to be hit by car.
Eight-year-old Aneel Ward donned the costume for INSIDE EDITION with his parents' permission.
He said: “If you're walking and you don't see, you can maybe bump into something or someone. It's not a very good costume for Halloween.”
Some experts recommend using glow in the dark bracelets and a necklace to illuminate the costume.
Stern argues that it may not be enough. “Even if they are using a glow stick they are completely invisible. How they could put a costume like this on the market is mind blowing and totally irresponsible,” she said.
