Inside she poses in a sexy negligee, scrawling the words ‘Bye Bye’ with red lipstick on a mirror.
She also dons bunny ears to pose with Hugh Hefner and sat down with actor James Franco for an interview. Franco often contributes as a writer and journalist for the magazine.
"To close out this era in the magazine's history, it only made sense to put the most famous playmate in playboy history on the cover: Pamela Anderson," the staff wrote.
It is the 48-year-old’s 14th cover- -a Playboy record. This is also her 15th pictorial for the iconic magazine. Her first cover for the magazine occurred in October 1989.
She told Franco about the experience: “The photographer shot me in one roll of film because I was nervous and throwing up. But then I saw the pictures, and from there it was hard to keep my clothes on! I was painfully shy before, but then it clicked in my head that nobody cares what you look like naked except you. People are more concerned about themselves and their own flaws.”
