President Obama Ate Animal Scraps During His Alaskan Adventure With Bear Grylls
Obama feasted on salmon that had been half eaten by bears.
President Barack Obama ran wild with survival expert Bear Grylls in Alaska for the adventurer’s show, Running Wild with Bear Grylls, airing Thursday on NBC.

“I've seen some of the stuff Bear eats; it's got to be something that doesn’t have its legs and eyes on it," Obama said.
The Commander-in-Chief was treated to a less than presidential meal— bear scraps.
The host told Obama: “Don't freak out too much, but this was half-eaten by a bear.”
They also caught fresh salmon and cooked it on an open flame.
The President said it was “tasty.”

Fifty Secret Service agents joined Obama on his adventure, which was filmed at the end of the summer and designed to draw attention to climate change.
