The happy Chicago resident said: "Pick your favorite numbers and stick with them. It worked for me!"
A lucky Chicago man has defied the odds — winning the lottery for the second time in a decade with the exact same numbers.
Larry Gambles, 65, won the Illinois Lottery jackpot of $1,050,000 on June 7, using the numbers 01-06-12-14-25.

It is the second time Gambles gambled with those numbers. In 2007, the retired school administrator, who lives in the Windy City, used the exact digits to take home a $50,000 prize.
"Nine years ago, I won $50,000 playing the numbers from the jerseys of my high school basketball team," Gambles told lottery officials. "I've been playing the same numbers ever since. I can't believe they paid off again."
When he recently won, he told his family. "They couldn’t believe that I won the lottery again!" he said.
