Halloween Horror: 5 Shot at Costume Party by Man Dressed as Freddy Krueger
A night of frightening fun turned truly scary in San Antonio Saturday.
A night of frightening fun turned truly scary in Texas this weekend when a man dressed as Freddy Krueger opened fire on a Halloween house party.
San Antonio police said the man was one of several who showed up outside a party at about 5 a.m., where they began to cause trouble.
At some point, guests were asked to leave and an altercation among the guests occurred, police said in a statement obtained by InsideEdition.com.
That's when authorities say the man dressed as the famously scarred Nightmare on Elm Street character pulled out a gun and opened fire.
Five people were struck by bullets.
According to police, one of the victims tried to drive her car to the hospital, but crashed on the way. All were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Noting that the investigation is still ongoing, the SAPD declined to share any additional details and no arrests have been made as of midday Monday.
