Floyd Mayweather Visits President-Elect at Home, 2 Years After Trump Called Boxer's Win 'Total Joke'
Trump once called a decision in Mayweather's favor a 'disgrace.'
Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has gotten into Donald Trump's corner, paying the president-elect a visit at Trump Tower Wednesday evening.

Donald Trump Jr. spilled the beans on the meeting after posting a photo on Twitter of the three hanging out.

Trump, a former boxing promoter, once called out Mayweather after a 2014 bout when the fighter was ruled the winner against Argentine boxer Marcos Maidana.

In August, the 49-0 boxer came out in support of Trump for president when he tweeted: “Donald Trump is the right person to be the commander in chief of the United States” #trump4whitehouse #TMT.”
On Thursday, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and Nikki Haley, the South Carolina governor who is reportedly on the short list for secretary of state, are both slated to visit Trump.
The head of New York’s Success Academy, Eva Moskowitz, is in the running for secretary of education. Moskowitz has been a champion of charter schools and school choice. She visited with Trump Wednesday.

Donald Trump reportedly wants Ivanka Trump's husband Jared Kushner to receive national security clearance, which campaign manager Kellyanne Conway denies.
“It’s appropriate for whoever’s going to get the presidential daily briefing to have a security clearance,” Conway said Wednesday. “It’s not just appropriate, [it is] necessary.”
