Couple Who Met on Social Media Have Twitter-Themed Wedding
"Pretty much if we could customize, we did," Sumita Dalmia told InsideEdition.com
It's a match made on Twitter.
Anuj Patel and Sumita Dalmia met on the social networking site in 2014 after Patel posted that he had an extra ticket to a sporting event.
They hit it off through direct messaging and eventually met, dated and got engaged with a Twitter-inspired proposal.
So, it came as little surprise that their recent wedding was Twitter-themed.
The couple had Twitter-inspired welcome letters, hotel key cards, wedding favors, cocktails, a cake topper and ice cream, among many other things, on their big day.
“Pretty much if we could customize, we did,” Sumita Dalmia told InsideEdition.com
The couple had about 500 guests at their wedding. Guests posted pictures of the affair with the hashtag #“Tweetheart2016”
"People really loved the uniqueness. It just kind of told our story; I think it made it very apparent during our wedding," Dalmia said.
